Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna State cancels Sallah Celebration

The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has announced the cancellation of Sallah celebration in the Zazzau Emirate.


The cancellation of the yearly festival following the emergence of  third phase of COVID -19 Pandemic.

He said medical experts have advised that the third phase of the virus is a deadly one and very easy to be contacted.

Emir Bamalli said as reported by the Presidential Committee on CoronaVirus, Kaduna State is one of the six states and FCT that are on the red alert, this make it nessary to cancell  the annual traditional durbar.

Speaking on the Sallah celebration, the emir felicitated with all Muslims and urged them to emulate the virtue of sacrifice and helping the needy in the society.
Ambassador Bamalli used the occasion to call on his subjects to report any suspicious person(s) particularly strangers, to the nearest authorities.

He prayed to Allah to bring to an end the Kidnappings, killings and rustling of cattle that is very rampant in the area.
The emir also appealed to the federal, states and local government areas to as a matter of urgency, bring to an end of the current hardship that bedevils the people which is very terrible, to avoid breaking down of law and order
