The management of Unity Point Hotels has opened a modern hotel in Uke a few kilometers away from central District of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
Speaking during an official opening ceremony of the hotel on Saturday, the chairman of Ute -Okpu Progressive Union, Abuja, Elder Andrew Orolua commended the proprietor for venturing into hospitality business in Abuja environ.
He urged the community and the neighbourhood to consider the property as their own, because it is meant to provide services for them and create an employment opportunities residents of the area.
The chairman said that business ventures of this nature are absolutely necessary to open up the area for development and greater economic activities.
Earlier, in his address the proprietor of Unity Point Hotel, thanked the community and explained that the facilities in the hotel should be used .
The hotel has creational facilities, not limited to television viewing centre, bar , restaurant etc.
The proprietor say the hotel is his contribution toward reducing unemployment among the youths adding that some will be employed and earn a living to support their families.
