Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that the Federal Government earns 52 kobo from every N1 revenue generated by Dangote Cement.
Speaking during a recent event, Dangote emphasized the significant tax contributions made by the cement giant, noting that the company remains one of Nigeria’s largest corporate taxpayers.
He stated, “For every one naira of revenue we make, the government gets 52 kobo. That’s how much value we are creating for the economy.”
Dangote Cement, which operates across several African countries, plays a crucial role in Nigeria’s construction sector and continues to contribute significantly to national revenue through taxes, levies, and other statutory payments.
