Emmanuel Dennis Returns to Forest After Blackburn Loan, No Permanent Move Planned

Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis has officially returned to Nottingham Forest following the conclusion of his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers, with no plans in place for a permanent transfer, club sources have confirmed.

Dennis, who joined Blackburn in January 2025 on a short-term deal, featured prominently for the Championship side, making 16 appearances and scoring 4 goals.

Despite his contributions, both clubs have reportedly agreed that the loan will not transition into a full transfer.

Dennis, 26, joined Forest from Watford in 2022 but struggled to cement a regular starting spot in the Premier League side’s attack. His loan to Blackburn was seen as a chance to regain form and showcase his abilities with regular game time.
