The Kano State Chapter of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has suspended the Secretary to State Government, Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi from the party.
The leadership of the Party has also, suspended the Commissioner for Transport, Muhammad Diggol.
The Kano state NNPP chairman Alhaji Hashimu Dungurawa revealed this in kano
He explained that, the suspension followed various complains levelled against them from the ward and local government levels of the party.
In addition Dungurawa noted that, the affected members were suspended due to disobedience and disloyalty to the party.
He said, “today we have suspended the SSG Abdullahi Baffa Bichi and the commissioner of Transportation, Muhammad Diggol over abuse of power, office and disloyalty to the party.”
“After receiving formal complaint letters from their wards, and upon confirmation of the allegations by the local leadership, we had no other option but to take this decisive step. “We are commending the leadership of the party from their wards and the Local Government confirmed to us.
They are all from Bichi North where they all came from for bringing the issue to us in written.”
There is a growing internal party crisis in the local government Branch of the NNPP in Bichi among the stakeholders where Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf intervened in order settle the matter.
