Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi has stirred controversy after asserting that actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo never travelled internationally before him. In a live session, Fabiyi revealed that he had been travelling abroad for over 20 years and was previously married to a British woman for a decade, positioning himself as more experienced in global exposure than his female colleagues.
He also revisited the Baba Ijesha saga, accusing Iyabo Ojo of attempting to tarnish his image. According to Fabiyi, Ojo once threatened to block his travel opportunities during the height of the case. He reiterated that no court judgment confirmed child molestation by Baba Ijesha, despite widespread public outrage at the time.
