Miami Heat point guard, Gabe Vincent, continued his impressive development and form scoring 11 points in the Heat’s 124-102 loss to champions, Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday at the Fiserv Forum.
It was his sixth-consecutive game of scoring in double digits a record for the D’Tigers captain to the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
Vincent on Sunday scored 11 points, one rebound and six assists in 29 minutes as a depleted Heat side without forward, Jimmy Butler, centre, Bam Adebayo and point guard, Victor Oladipo were out due to injuries.
The Nigerian after scoring just one point in Heat’s 100-92 win over the Detroit Pistons on November 24 has gone on to score 14 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves, 20n points against the Chicago Bulls, 14 points against the Denver Nuggets, 11 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers, 12 points against the Indiana Pacers and 11 points against the Bucks.
Vincent has featured in 21 games this season averaging 6.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists.
At the Madison Square Garden, Zeke Nnaji, scored a career-high 21 points in Denver Nuggets 113-99 win over the New York Knicks on Sunday.
Nnaji made five from nine shots from the long-range with eight rebounds in the game. He is currently shooting 67 per cent from the three-point line this season.
Reacting to the game and his three-point shooting percentage, Nnaji who was a first-round 22 overall pick by the Nuggets in the 2020 draft said, “I’m extremely confident in my shooting.
