Self-acclaimed activist and internet personality, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), was seen in tears on Wednesday following the tragic killing of Anambra-based businessman, Ifesinachi Onyekere, fondly called “Fish Magnet”.
Onyekere, the son of a prominent All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) chieftain, was abducted by armed men on Saturday in Ezinifite, Okpuno, Awka South Local Government Area. His lifeless body was reportedly discovered on Wednesday, sparking national outrage.
In a video posted on Facebook, VDM wept as he decried the worsening security situation in Anambra and beyond. He also announced plans to visit the state on August 4 for a candlelight procession and awareness walk through the fish market in honour of the slain businessman.
