Technology expert and Owllup CEO, Chimobi Anyanwu, has asserted that Nigeria’s economic and security challenges can be better addressed through technology rather than government interventions.
Anyanwu stressed that technology backed with ideas and adequate funding provides a lasting solution. He noted that youth participation in politics remains low, with many lacking voter cards or knowledge of their local government, despite development starting from the grassroots.
“Our platform is community-centric, built around interests from the grassroots to the federal level,” he said. “Technology does not need government but ideas and funding. Data from the platform will help tackle insecurity, unemployment, and societal development.”
