Super Falcons of Nigeria on Monday crashed out of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, after losing to England 2-4 via penalty shootout.
The Super Falcons held the European champions to a goalless draw until 120 minutes after Lauren James got red-carded for stamping on Alozie.
Chloe Kelly scored the winning kick in the shoot-out to take European champions England, who had Lauren James sent off in normal time, through to a last-eight tie against Colombia or Jamaica.
