Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye paid a courtesy visit to Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State today, as he continues to enjoy his off-season break in his hometown.
During the visit, Okoye unveiled plans to launch a charitable foundation and establish a football academy in Enugu. His vision is to empower young talents, nurture future football stars, and give back to the community that raised him.
In a show of strong support, Governor Mbah pledged to provide land for the academy and officially conferred on Okoye the honorary title of “Ambassador of Enugu.”
