The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla has given succour to the family of slain Leading Regulator Suleiman MK,who paid the supreme sacrifice in service to the nation under Operation WHIRL STROKE in Niger State on 13 August 2023.
Vice Admiral Ogalla presented a 2 Bedroom Semi-Detached Bungalow to the widow of the fallen hero Mrs Suleiman at Navy Estate Karshi Abuja last week Friday.
Ably represented at the presentation by the Director Veteran Affairs, Rear Admiral Mohammed Yakubu Dahiru , he said that the initiatives will be sustained to ensure that no one is left behind and his vision for highly motivated professional naval force is not retard.
Nigerian Navy capability of shaping and providing the security within Nigeria’s maritime domain and the littorals including land-based engagements must be sustained and improved upon by motivated personnel.
In the service to a nation, military personnel make extraordinary sacrifices, often paying the ultimate price in order to safeguard the lives of the citizens and territorial integrity of the nation.
Their bravery and dedication in the face of battle are the bedrock upon which national security is built upon. Therefore, the loss of a naval rating in line of duty is a profound tragedy, affecting not we must provide , he assured.
