Former First Lady Aisha Buhari has revealed that relatives of her late husband, Muhammadu Buhari, including their wives and grandchildren, had taken over the Presidential Villa before state-managed burial arrangements intervened.
She said the situation was becoming overwhelming until the presidency stepped in to take control of the burial process.
According to Aisha Buhari, the application of official state protocols helped restore order and ensured that the former president’s burial was conducted with dignity and structure, preventing further intrusion into the Villa during the mourning period.
