The 89th Interpol General Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey has ended in a good note on Thursday.
The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa was one of the Nigerian delegates to the 89th Interpol General Assembly which ends on Thursday, November 25, 2021,
The General Assembly had opened on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Nigerian delegation to the event was led by the Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi.
EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa met with Turkey officials on the side line on several Law Enforcement related issues.
The Turkish government was represented at the meeting by its Minister of Interior, Suleyman Soylu.
Others in the Nigeria delegation are the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, Assistance Inspector General (AIG) Interpol, Garba Baba Umar and the representative of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
