Peace Awards: Mary Lazarus bags Most Peaceful Actress of the Year

Nollywood star, Mary Lazarus, has bagged the ‘Most Peaceful Actress of the Year’ award in the recently concluded 2021 National Peace Awards.

The excited actress on Sunday took to her verified Instagram page to share pictures of the event and her award certificate.

According to the pictures she shared, the award ceremony took place in Abuja on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Though she could not make it to the event, the actress revealed that she was represented by her colleague, Fawowe Asanu.

Expressing her excitement over the award, Lazarus appreciated the organisers for the recognition.

She wrote, “As we strive to promote peace and cordiality in our society, I’m thrilled to have received the award for being one of the most Peaceful Actors.

“I’m grateful to the organizers – National Peace Awards for finding me worthy to be celebrated.

One of the pictures Lazarus shared on her page also revealed some of the other awardees at the National Peace Awards.

Other awardees include Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timpriye Silva (Minister of the Year/Amnesty Man of the Year); Managing Director of Vivian Lam Glamour Magazine, Vivian Lam (Media Personality of the Year); and others.
