An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has ordered United Bank for Africa (UBA) to freeze 30 bank accounts linked to local government allocations in Osun State, amid an escalating legal standoff over fund control.
The freeze, which bars UBA from debiting or releasing funds from those accounts, has been extended until October 9 to allow for further legal challenges and ensure a fair hearing for all parties.
