Contract talks between Nigeria international and Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor have once again stalled over the player’s demand, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Trabzonspor last week according to Turkish website 61saat.com returned to the negotiation table with an offer of a two-and-half extension and were confident the forward will sign the dotted lines.
However, gazetevatan.com on Tuesday reported that the striker has rejected the offer as it did not meet his requirement financially and in terms of the number of years he prefers.
Nwakaeme is pushing for a guaranteed three-year contract with an option of a fourth year while also requesting that his annual salary move from €1.5m to €2m while also requesting a €500,000 sign-on fee from the club.
Trabzonspor, who are currently top of the Turkish Lig table with 30 points from 12 games and unbeaten so far, will be hoping to hold on to Nwakaeme who is one of their most prized assets.
Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are some of the top Turkish clubs who have already shown interest in snatching the experienced forward from their opponent.

He joned Trabzonspor in the summer of 2018 from Apoel Beer Sheva for €1.1m.
