Nigerian and Ghanaian nationals arrested in Libya for allegedly running a brothel

Five Nigerian and Ghanaian nationals have been arrested by security forces in Libya for allegedly running a brothel in a rented apartment.

According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the suspects were arrested in Tajoura, a town in north-western Libya, on Monday, October 24, 2022.

During the raid, home made alcohol, illicit drugs, fake money & unauthorized wireless radio devices were seized from the arrested suspects.

“Security forces in Tajoura, Libya arrested 5 undocumented migrants, pimps of Ghanaian and Nigerian descent for running an illegal prostitution brothel in an apartment. During raid officers seized home made alcohol, illicit drugs, fake money & unauthorized wireless radio devices”
