President/Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has faulted the crude supply practices of international oil companies, saying Nigeria has no reason to import crude or refined petroleum products.
Dangote noted that the country has the capacity to meet its domestic fuel needs if existing laws are fully enforced. He criticised current supply arrangements, stressing that proper implementation of regulations would end Nigeria’s dependence on imports.
His comments come as debates continue over Nigeria’s energy security and refinery performance.
