Naija Ratels will be better for Aiteo Cup challenge, Olowookere assures

Bankole Olowookere, the head coach of Naija Ratels Women Football Club of Abuja, says they are working on strengthening their team for the upcoming Aiteo Cup competition.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Naija Ratels FC on Wednesday in Abuja whitewashed Joty Sports Queens FC 9-0 to win the 2022 FCT Women’s FA Cup.

Bankole told NAN he was full of hopes that his team would perform better than they did last year in the national competition.

He said they would however need to re-strategise and improve the team ahead of the national competition.

“While we give all the glory to God for winning the state FA Cup competition, we are also aware that we now need to start preparations immediately to reinforce our team.

“We will work hard to win all our matches in all the rounds and also play in the final match.

“With God on our side we will also win the competition, because this is our target,” the coach, who also heads the technical crew of the national under-17 women team, said.
