The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said on Saturday the military is still studying the incident of some of its personnel who invaded the Kaduna State zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to release some personnel who were arrested for internet-related fraud.
EFCC was compelled to release one serving officer of the Nigerian Army and seven Nigerian Air Force (NAF) operatives arrested for internet-related fraud.
The suspects were released after some NAF personnel stormed the Kaduna State zonal office of the anti-graft agency over the arrest of the suspects.
Responding to Daily Trust’s inquiry, NAF spokesman, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, said the air force was still studying the incident.
“For now, still studying the issue,” Gabkwet said in a text message.
EFCC had on Friday narrated how some personnel of the Nigerian Air Force invaded its Kaduna State zonal office to free fraud suspects.
