Midfielder Mubarak Sani has sealed a deal to join Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) outfit Niger Tornadoes.
Sani, who featured prominently for Rivers United last season, left the club after his contract expired at the end of the 2024–25 campaign.
He was instrumental in Rivers United’s push for the title, helping them secure a second-place finish and consistently featuring in their matchday squad.
The experienced midfielder is now set to be unveiled by Niger Tornadoes, who narrowly avoided relegation on the final day of last season.
His arrival is expected to bolster the Minna-based side ahead of the new campaign.
