The mother of late comedian Raji Samad Adetola, popularly known as Sanku Comedy, has dismissed speculations that her son’s death was linked to money rituals. Sanku tragically passed away on Monday after a car accident along the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway in Ibadan.
In a viral video, the grieving mother described her son as a devout Muslim who never engaged in fetish practices. She revealed that despite being offered spiritual soaps by clerics, Sanku always insisted her prayers were enough to sustain him.
She recalled his words of reassurance, saying Sanku had promised to take care of her and his siblings, urging her to focus on prayers rather than worry. “My son did not do money rituals. He was a good child, devoted to God, and always prayed,” she said.
