Morocco became the first Arab nation to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup after defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final held in Santiago on Sunday.
Yassir Zabiri was the star of the night, scoring both goals — the first from a stunning 12th-minute free kick and the second from close range just 17 minutes later.
The victory marks a historic milestone for African and Arab football, while Argentina, the record six-time champions, suffered their second-ever final defeat, the first being against Brazil in 1983.
