The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd) has asked for more supports and assistance to the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Armed Forces of Nigeria to over come security challenges.
General Musa made the call while addressing staff of the Defence Section of the Nigerian High Commission, London, on the sidelines of the ongoing state visit to the United Kingdom by President Tinubu.
Speaking about insecurity, the Minister acknowledged the security challenges currently facing Nigeria and appealed to all Nigerians to continue support to the federal government, noting that terrorism and allied threats to national security will be defeated.
“We are having security challenges, but we will certainly overcome. I want to appeal to all Nigerians to continue to support the government and the Armed Forces for us to have a safe and secured country”.
General Musa expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve and thanked the British government for a wonderful reception.
