Mass JAMB Failure Reflects Success of Anti-Cheating Measures — Education Minister

The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has attributed the significant number of low scores in the 2025 UTME to the effectiveness of stringent anti-cheating measures implemented by JAMB.

He emphasized that the mass failure is not a reflection of student intelligence but proof that exam integrity has been restored.

He announced plans to extend JAMB-style anti-cheating measures to WAEC and NECO, with full adoption expected by 2027.
