The Supreme Court of Nigeria will tomorrow, Friday October 20, 2023 in Enugu state lay to rest the remains of one of its own late Justice Chima Centus Nweze.
Erudite Justice Nweze died on Saturday 29th July, 2023 at the age of 64 years in Abuja while servicing on the Supreme Court bench.
The funeral will mark the climax of an elaborate ceremony that commenced on Tuesday October 10th, 2023 with a well deserved valedictory Session of the Supreme Court that had in attendance numerous legal luminaries and the cream of the society in his honour.
The Supreme Court Session was presided over by Chief Justice of Nigerian (CJN), Justice Olukayode Ariwoola .
Just on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 another deserving valedictory Court Session was held at the Enugu State High Court in honour of late Justice C C Nweze, JSC, CFR.for his home coming.
A prelude book titled “HON. JUSTICE C.C. NWEZE JSC, CFR IN REVIEW” authored by Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume (SAN) will serve as souvenir during his Funeral on Friday, 20th October, 2023 among others.
