Lagos Says No Casualties Recorded In School Collapse, Orders Students’ Relocation

A classroom block at Odokekere High School in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has partially collapsed, but officials confirm no casualties were recorded in the incident.

The Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRPS) says all students are safe and have not sustained serious injuries following the collapse.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered the immediate relocation of pupils to nearby schools to prevent disruption to academic activities.

Officials from SCRPS are expected to carry out an on-the-spot assessment of the site, with plans to rebuild a modern classroom block underway.
