Veteran Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has opened up about the reasons behind his late marriage. In a recent interview, he revealed that financial instability and a lack of self-confidence caused significant delays in settling down, leading him to marry at the age of 40.
Saka explained that while some believed he was focused solely on his career, the truth was that he struggled with poverty and self-doubt. He recounted how a past relationship ended because he couldn’t meet a partner’s demand of owning two cars before marriage, further highlighting the financial pressures he faced.
The actor also shared that he took a course in psychology to overcome his inferiority complex. Now a father of three, he emphasized that his children are his greatest investment, adding that he remains committed to their growth despite the late start to his family life.
