Abdulmumin Jibrin, a close associate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has held another meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. This marks his second visit to Aso Rock in just two weeks.
Although details of the discussions remain undisclosed, the repeated engagements have fueled speculation about possible political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections. Political observers believe the meetings could signal behind-the-scenes negotiations involving the NNPP and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jibrin, a federal lawmaker from Kano State, has been a prominent voice in Nigeria’s political space and is considered one of Kwankwaso’s most trusted allies. His back-to-back visits to the Presidency have attracted significant public and media attention.
