The Katsina State Police Command has disbursed a total of ₦10.9 million to families of 34 police officers who died while serving the nation. The disbursement, which took place on Friday, July 25, was done under the Group Life Assurance and the Inspector-General of Police’s Family Welfare Scheme.
The cheques were officially presented to the next of kin by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration, DCP Aminu Gusau, who represented the Commissioner of Police, CP Bello Shehu, at the event.
