Judges of Nigerian Federal High Court proceed on annual vacation July 26

Judges of the Federal High Court will proceed on annual vacation from Monday the 26th day of July, 2021 to Friday the 17th September, 2021.
A statement issued by Catherine Oby Christopher the Chief Information Officer, Federal High Court stated that the Chief Judge Justice John Terhemba Tsoho announced this to the judges on Monday.

The statement is as follows:

Press Release 
NOTIFICATION OF FEDERAL HIGH COURT ANNUAL VACATION FOR THE YEAR 2021. 
Pursuant to the provisions of Order 46, Rule 4 (d) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Honorable Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, announces to Hon. Judges, stakeholders and the general public, that the Federal High Court will proceed on its Annual Vacation for the Year 2021 from Monday the 26th day of July, 2021 to Friday the 17th September, 2021. The Court resumes sitting on Monday the 20th of September, 2021.In order for the court to enable Hon. Judges to enjoy their well deserved rest and to prepare for the challenges of the New Legal Year, only the core divisions:Abuja, Lagos and Port- Harcourtwill remain functional throughout the vacation.
It is essential to stress that during the vacation, only cases of EXTREME URGENCY, such as Arrest of ship(s) and Fundamental Rights Enforcement are to be entertained.The Vacation Judges are  ABUJAa) Hon. Justice    A. R. Mohammed
