Nigeria missed a penalty as Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes scored twice to help Portugal beat the Super Eagles 4 – 0 In an international friendly match played yesterday.
The match was Portugal’s last exhibition match before departing for Qatar for the 2022 World Cup and it was played at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon on Thursday night.
Nigeria was abysmal with the likes of Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon failing to impress on the night.
Portugal will face Ghana in a World Cup match on the 24th of November.
