The Nigerian Navy has alerted the public that imposters are impersonating the Chief of Navy Staff Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla on Facebook and other social media.
Director Naval Information, Commodore A. Adams-Aliu said in a statement on Wednesday night that “CNS Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla does NOT have a Facebook account and any account found is a fake account.”
“This is to bring to the notice of the general public of the recent trend of impersonation of the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral EI Ogalla on Facebook and other social media handles by suspected scammers and online bots.”
“Accordingly we are all enjoined to take note of these pages and report such accounts aggressively to ensure they are taken down,” he added.
