Popular Nigerian producer and singer, Young Jonn, has expressed curiosity over people’s reaction to his roots. Taking to social media, the hitmaker behind several chart-topping songs said, “People are always surprised when they learn I’m from Akwa Ibom. Why are you surprised?”
Young Jonn, born John Saviours Udomboso, was raised in Ibadan but hails from Akwa Ibom State. Many fans often associate him with the Yoruba culture due to his fluent use of the language in music and interviews.
