Legendary musician, Dr. Sunday Adeniyi-Adegeye MFR, popularly known as King Sunny Ade, has officially debunked viral reports claiming he was missing.
In a statement released on April 28, 2025, King Sunny Ade refuted what he described as “falsehood and fabricated news” spread by Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye and her associates. The Juju music icon stated clearly that he is “alive, well, and grateful for the love and support” from fans.
He condemned the rumor as completely baseless and warned those spreading misinformation to desist or be ready to face legal action.
“I utilize this medium to admonish the Blogger(s) responsible for this mischievous act… to desist forthwith, otherwise be prepared to face the wrath of the Law,” he warned.
The statement reassured the public and well-wishers of his safety and good health.
