The Baba Aladura and Prelate of the Eternal scared Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide, His Most Eminence (Dr.) Divad D.L. Bob-Manuel
has asked Nigerians to embark on prayers in the face of the palpable crushing hardship for God to turn it round.
He said that there is nothing prayer can’t do and that instead of lamenting we should pray for God’s mercy and take away the hardship.
His Most Eminence Baba-Aladura made the call on Sunday in an interview with journalists at the Church National Headquarters Annex Cathedral Mount of Miracles Garki Abuja, 75 Adoption Thanksgiving Service, tagged ” Redeemed to Rule & Reign”
Asked what Nigerians will do to overcome the current crushing hardship,
he said,”I will appeal to our members, but not only our members but Nigerians as a whole .
“There is hardship and people hardly eat one meal a day. I know that there is time for everything, just like the preacher said all these things wil pass away for God in His infinity mercy hears prayers. Let us pray to God for mercy and to bring back our lost glory.
He said that “like the hardship we are facing, no one person can cause it to happen this way, even if it were the President or anybody doing it, it is by the grace of God.”
“God might have directed him to do it and only with prayer we can achieve what we want.
He urged Nigerians “to fear God and keep His commandments which is the whole duty of man. Thereafter, seek ye first his righteousness – the Kingdom of God and everything will be added to you.”
Baba – Aladura Bob -Manuel said that nothing God can’t do and He will lift us up out of this hardship.
The Eternal Scared Order of Cherubim and Seraphim , ESOCS, is celebrating its 75 Adoption Service this year and the Baba-Aladura explained that is a celebration and thanksgiving to God for haven Adopted ESOCS members into His family. Members are no more servants, slaves but now children and co- heirs with Jesus Christ in God’s Kingdom.
The Baba Aladura said ESOCS will celebrate it’s Centenary anniversary next year . The Church haven been established by the sole founder Baba Aladura Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase (Ajagunmokadi) in 1925.
The Cherubim and Seraphim Church has a peculiar way of African worship. It was the first to introduce drumming , clapping, dancing and praise worship in church service distinct from the Christian missionary European solemn and common prayer method of worship.
