Government Army Secondary school Glorious GASS 88’s set hosted her 2021 Annual General Meeting, AGM, in Abuja last weekend.

The three day event started with a welcome seat out at the president Dame Sotonye Wabote apartment on arrival.

Day two, Abuja sight and tours follow by an old school part at the Nera Hotel and Resort, Jabi FCT, Abuja.

Day three, Aerobic Exercise with members appearing on their crested T shirts at the Jabi lake follow by the AGM proper with members represented their state in different colourful attires at the the same Hotel.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the AGM, the President of the Dame Sotonye Wabote charged members to be fully committed, so that the the aims and objectives of coming together can be achieved.

Dame Wabote who commended members for coming out in their numbers to attend this year’s AGM, noted that we are looking forward to hosting this AGM outside the shores of Nigeria as our members who are in the diaspora also wish to be part of this annual event .

However she announced that next year AGM will be hosted in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The AGM /reunion which was rounded up with a pool side party in same hotel.

The event was attended by members across the country, indeed, it was a federal event.

Highpoint of the ceremony is the presentation of awards to some members who have distinguished themselves in the Great Glorious GASS ELELELE 88 set and the appointment of Barr. Sam O Igwe as the Asst. Legal Adviser of the Association.

The awardee are Dame Sotonye Wabote, Chima Nnamdi, Professor Joy Ekeke, Mrs Tonye Buseri and Julian NkumaOnyi.

Others are Nnameka C Nwakwo, Christian Odugwu, Colonel Sunday Chohwora, Amerizi Obina Princewill and Patrick Ugbe Agich.
