The Kano Governorship Election Tribunal is currently sitting and reading out the judgment.
The reading of the judgment at the Kano High Court complex, Miller Road on Wednesday, is being transmitted virtually via Zoom as the panel members are not physically in the court. However, the parties in the case, lawyers, media professionals, and other accredited people in the court are presently listening to the judgment.
The All Progressives Congress is challenging the electoral victory of Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party as governor of Kano state as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up not only in the court premises but in the entire city.
