Supporter of Nigerian dancehall artiste Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, have launched a GoFundMe campaign to aid her career revival following the reemergence of a touching video in which she appealed for spiritual support.
The resurfaced Instagram Live video, originally shared by Connecting the Dots Africa (#ctda_media), showed the singer visibly emotional as she expressed deep frustration over her current situation. Cynthia, who hails from Edo State, was clear in her plea, emphasizing the need for prayers over monetary donations.
“I am not going to lie, all I need right now is prayers. I need them to pray for me,” she said in the video. “I am not going to say anybody should come and give me money. If you give me money, cool stuff.”
