Former Military Administrator of Bayelsa State and retired Navy Captain, Omoniyi Caleb Olubolade, has passed away at the age of 70.
The Ipoti-Ekiti-born former minister died on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Apapa, Lagos. He had marked his 70th birthday just months earlier, on November 30, 2024.
In a statement jointly signed by his daughter, Mrs.
Oluwayemisi Akinadewo, and son, Mr. Dayo Olubolade, the family said he had driven himself to a local tennis facility where he collapsed while playing.
