Customs Celebrates Officer Who Rode Motorbike from Nigeria to Belgium in 35 Days

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has hailed Assistant Comptroller Akpevwe Ogboru, popularly known as “Tracta 2”, after she successfully rode a motorbike from Nigeria to Belgium in 35 days. Covering about 10,265km across two continents and 10 countries, Ogboru arrived at the Nigerian embassy in Brussels on Thursday, where her arrival was described as a symbol of courage, resilience, and national pride.

Her expedition, tagged “Ride for Women Inclusivity and Cross-Border Research”, sought to promote gender equality, girl-child empowerment, and cultural exchange. Customs Comptroller-General Bashir Adeniyi praised her bravery, noting that her feat showcases the Nigerian spirit of excellence while reinforcing the service’s commitment to supporting initiatives that advance women and children empowerment.
