Cristiano Ronaldo: Winning the World Cup Won’t Define Me

Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that while he remains determined to win the FIFA World Cup with Portugal, his legacy does not depend on it. Speaking to Piers Morgan Uncensored, the Al-Nassr forward said, “We will fight to win the World Cup, of course. But it will not define me at all.”

The Portuguese captain argued that it’s “not fair” to judge a player’s greatness based on a single tournament consisting of just a few matches. Ronaldo emphasized that his career achievements and consistency over two decades speak louder than one competition.

At 40, Ronaldo continues to chase international glory while maintaining that his focus is on enjoying football and inspiring the next generation of players.
