The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the removal of Attorney-General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), from a suit filed by the Osun State Government.
The case seeks to block the release of withheld local government allocations to sacked APC chairmen and councillors.
Justice James Omotosho ruled that the AGF is not a necessary party in the matter, stressing that the dispute lies within Osun State’s internal jurisdiction. The suit, however, continues against the other respondents.
