The National Industrial Court,NIC, has ordered the Academy Staff Union of Universities ASUU to stop it’s seven months old strike.
Presiding judge, Justice Peter Hammam granted an interlocutory conjunction brought by the federal government against the Academy Staff Union of Universities ASUU pending the determination of the substantive suit.
The order specifically direct ASUU to return to class rooms in national interest and those of the students some of whom would missed the compulsory National Youth Services Corp whose Act stipulated that person aged 30 years can not enroll to serve.
