Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy has achieved another historic milestone, becoming the first Nigerian artist to earn five career Grammy nominations in album categories.
His latest project, No Sign of Weakness (2025), was nominated for Best Global Music Album at the upcoming Grammy Awards, marking yet another global recognition for the Afrobeats icon. Other nominees include Youssou N’Dour, Anoushka Shankar, and Caetano Veloso.
Burna Boy also earned a nod for Best African Music Performance with his hit Love, alongside fellow Nigerian stars Davido, Wizkid, Ayra Starr, and Omah Lay. His consistent recognition solidifies his place as one of Africa’s most influential artists on the world stage.
