Mr Peter Obi the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, defeats the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his political stronghold Lagos State.
The lose has caused Jagaban presidential enterprise to hang in the balance, more so as Rabiu Kwankwaso the presidential candidate of NNPP has cornered majority votes in Kano state to himself.
Tinubu had projected massive wins in Lagos and Kano with the highest registered voter population to coast home to victory.
But while Obi has just taken Lagos from him Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP is running riot in Kano sustaining his emphatic lead.
Obi defeated Tinubu going by the results of the Saturday, February 25 presidential election released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Obi polled 582,664 votes while Tinubu got 541,850.
Tinubu won in 11 local governments while Obi led in nine, but the LP candidate came top in the presidential election in plurality of votes
