The Borno State Government has taken a spiritual approach regarding the frequent destruction of electricity towers along the Maiduguri-Damaturu Road
The Governor , Professor Babagana Umara Zulum’ has directed the involvement of Quranic and other spiritual rituals against those engaging in the vandalism of electricity towers along the Maiduguri-Damaturu Road.
The session was conducted on Sunday by Islamic scholars and traditional leaders under the supervision of Abba Ali Abbari, the Chairman of Konduga Local Government Area of the state.
During the session, the information officer of the local government area went around announcing spiritual destruction and curses on anyone involved in the vandalism of the towers.
The session also concluded prayers for peace and stability in Borno State and Nigeria at large.
