A male student of Babcock University who was earlier declared missing by his mother has been expelled by the institution for drug peddling. The revelation came after an internal investigation uncovered his involvement in illegal drug activities within and outside the school premises. The university’s disciplinary committee, after reviewing the evidence, found him in violation of school rules and national drug laws.
According to a statement by the university, the student had been under scrutiny following reports of suspicious behavior. His mother had initially raised an alarm about his disappearance, but further inquiries revealed that she was involved in activities contrary to the school’s zero-tolerance policy on drug use and trafficking. Authorities were subsequently alerted to handle the criminal aspect of the case.
Babcock University emphasized its commitment to upholding moral and academic excellence, reiterating that all students must adhere to the institution’s code of conduct.
