Reflecting on the predicament of most Nigerians , His Most Eminence Baba Aladura, Elder (Dr) David Dabaye Lamjose Bob-Manuel, Moses Orimolade IX, of Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide has appealed to the rich in the country to help the poor and the needy out of the present hardship in the country.

Elder David made the appeal on Saturday at Kamaragiji , a rural suburban close to Abuja the Federal Capital where he personally presented food , money , water and other items to a large number of the people, the poor and bergers as part of activities marking the Church 100 years anniversary.

He earnestly pleaded with Nigerians and the riches in the society “to emulate the life of our lord Jesus Christ in giving.” “Our Lord Jesus Christ fed the multitude in the time of their needs and he didn’t send they away while they were hungry.”

He said that giving to those in need would go a long way in cushioning the prevailing hardship in the society.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee , His Eminence, Elder Barr. Isaac Imo said the outreach was conducted in 20 other different locations including hospitals , orphanage homes, motor parks in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory.

Similar exercises were held simultaneously in all the states capitals in the Northern part of the country on Saturday. The church medical team treated over 350 free at Kamaragiji.

In another related event, His Most Eminence, Baba Aladura, Elder (Dr.) David Bob-Manuel was the Special Guest of Honour at the FCT final football match competition organised as part of the Church Centenarian celebration.

The male final Football match was won by ESOCS National Headquarters Annex Cathedral Garki 2- 0 against Kubwa. province.

In the female category Nyanya Province won the gold medal by a lone goal against ESOCS National Headquarters Annex Cathedral Garki.
